Private Tutoring

With over ten years experience working with international students, June Narber offers in-home tutoring for children and adults. Teaching using a traditional method, core skills are developed including reading, writing, and vocabulary that on average, raises a child’s reading/writing level by one grade level in six months or higher depending on the child. With hundreds of success cases, she eagerly looks forward to working with new children each academic year. Long distance tutoring is also possible for writing development and essay composition especially for those in high school and preparing for the TOEFL. Each lesson plan is designed individually for each student, taking into consideration his/her strengths and weaknesses. A test created by June is administered at the first meeting to help her design the program for the given child or adult. Homework is mandatory and fun is guaranteed when studying with June!
